HYE X CHAEYUL: The Fragrance of Joseon is a collaborative exhibition with CHAEYUL, a traditional handcrafted furniture brand. The exhibition reinterprets and combines motifs inspired by the folk paintings of the Joseon Dynasty, traditional wooden lattice patterns, and the intricate embroidery of gyubang (women’s quarters) into a contemporary design language, presenting a modern perspective on Korean heritage.
