Sung Hye Jung
Jung Sung Hye is the founder and CEO of Design House HYE, a brand that redefines Korean heritage through a contemporary and refined aesthetic. A graduate of Seoul National University, she began her career at Samsung’s design team before earning international recognition with the Critics Award at FIT in New York. She later completed her graduate studies at NYU and is currently a professor at Inha University.
With over three decades of research and creative practice, her work centers on the modern reinterpretation of Korean tradition. In 2016, she founded HYE as a culmination of her artistic vision—an expression of heritage, craftsmanship, and timeless elegance.
Her work has been presented through global exhibitions and leading cultural institutions, establishing HYE as a distinguished voice in contemporary Korean design.
