Mapae Chain is a contemporary design inspired by three iconic elements of Korean heritage the mapae the horse emblazoned official pass that symbolized authority during the Joseon Dynasty, the horse motif from Paljundo by renowned Korean painter Ahn Jung-sik, and traditional Korean chain ornamentation reinterpreted with a modern aesthetic.
